The Huntsman can guard a target each night to protect them from harm. If their target is attacked, the Huntsman will die in their place and kill most attackers.

Role Text

- Eliminate all evil doers
- Special Abilities
- Each night you can choose to guard one player, protecting them from many forms of lethal attacks. If successful the huntsman and the attacker both die.
- You must choose a different target each night.
- Night immune attackers such as the Vampire do not die when the Huntsman successfully defends their target, but the huntsman still dies.
- If multiple attackers try to kill the Huntsman's target, such as a Werewolf and a Maple Wolf they will both die to the Huntsman.

When you select your target, you will receive the following message:
- Tonight you will guard <AvatarName>
Useful Notes
- Many roles attacks bypass the Huntsman. This includes the roles such as Militia, Zealot, Witch, Necromancer, Witch Hunter and Warlock.
- You can also guard against some items, including the Crossbow and the War Spear.
- If multiple people attack the guarded target, the Huntsman will kill each attacker.
