Role Text
- You are an Alchemist. You have two potions that can change the role of players. You are a member of the Coven and must eliminate the werewolves and the village.
- Objectives
- Kill all other evil factions
- Gain control of lynch voting by having at least 50% of living players be Coven members
- Special Abilities
- You have two potions that can change the role of a player, one targets Coven, the other targets your enemies.
- The potion that targets Coven will assign a randomised Coven role to that player (excluding Puppetmaster). The new role will have a fresh supply of powers (Shaman Totems, Witch Potions etc).
- The potion that targets enemies will assign a randomised weak role to that player.
- Village-aligned players will become one of the following; Villager, Lycan, Sleepwalker, Insomniac, Stalker
- Werewolf-aligned players will become either a Werewolf or a Shapeshifter
Ability Message
When the Alchemist selects their targets they receive the following message:
- Tonight you will purge <AvatarName>
And
- Tonight you will transmute <AvatarName>
Useful Notes
- The Alchemist is often paired with the Philosopher's Stone as this item refreshes the Alchemist's ability potions every three nights that the stone is held consecutively, in addition to giving a random Potion every two nights. These potions stack when the Alchemist holds the stone for 3 nights (unlike the Potion of Restoration). They can be "saved" and don't need to be spent before they get refreshed.
- The Alchemist can transmute and purge on the same night.
- Transmuting happens at the end of the night, so the targeted player will still be able to use their ability on the night it takes place.
- If the transmute ability is redirected to a non-coven player, nothing happens and the Alchemist is able to transmute again the following night.
- The transmute ability is able to re-roll a Coven player into any Coven role, except a Puppetmaster. In addition, you can re-roll into the same role. Any limited use abilities are refreshed.
- The Alchemist's potions cannot be stolen, as they are not items.
- In addition to night immune roles, Familiars are also immune to the purge action.
