Setup Explained
This is a fairly complex setup due to the number of possible roles in play. It uses the idea of grouping certain types of roles into bags, to ensure that multiple plays of the setup are unlikely to be the same, but will always guarantee a reasonable distribution of certain role types. Bag 1 contains intel gathering roles relating to alignment, bag 2 offers a variety of roles that can help to find or prevent night kills, bag 3 contains intel gathering roles relating to visits, bag 4 contains roles relating to adding or removing kill power, and bag 5 contains a variety of Villager variants.
Players who are told that they are a Villager should be aware that they could instead be an Insomniac, Lycan or Sleepwalker.
The intel gathering roles should be aware that their checks may be skewed by people being bloodlet, Lycans and Sleepwalkers.
There could be up to two Shapeshifters in the game, which could mean that the person who is seen to die at night has moved into another avatar, killing the player who orignally had that avatar.
Insane Adjudicators and Seers will not be told that they are Insane, they will instead believe themselves to be the standard type. This means that players should be aware that any checks from a player claiming Adjudicator or Seer may actually be the opposite.
Conflicts may also arise due to people claiming roles from the same bag. For example bag 4 only has one role from within that subset, so if someone claims Courtesan and another player claims Holdout, those two players cannot both be on the Village team, so it is always worth checking whether there are conflicting claims from within bags.
There is the possibility for a Drunk Harlot or Stalker in the game. Roles that are drunk may not get a check at night because the player instead has a hangover. If a player is drunk for one of their checks, their visit will still happen and can be seen by other visit checking roles.
