The Familiar is aligned with the specific Vampire that recruited them. They can come in three different variants: Stalker, Gravedigger or Militia. They are identical to the village counterpart in every way except their for their alignment.

A Vampire can only recruit Stalker Familiars. If the Vampire dies, the Familiar will be given a target to try and kill. If they succeed, the Vampire player will switch with the Familiar player and assume their avatar.

A Vampire Master can recruit any of the three variants, but it will be random what role the Familiar becomes. If the Vampire Master dies, they will be revived into the avatar of their oldest surviving Familiar during the following morning.
