The Grand Vizier is a village role that each night has a chance to be given one of four abilities - a revive, an alignment check, a Beholder check or a protection. The first night they don't receive any ability. The Grand Vizier is told in the morning what ability they have that night.
When a role is randomly selected, it cannot be selected again until only one role can be selected. When only one role remains which could be chosen, all the options become available instead. For example, you can roll a revive, followed by an alignment check, followed by a protect. Then, on the following night, all four options could be chosen as only one option (a Beholder check) was available so everything is refreshed.
