Role Text
- You are a Lost Mason. Your ancestors were once Masons but you were left behind, you have a rough idea of who your leader may be
- Objectives
- Lynch all evil doers
- Special Abilities
- On the first night you will be shown options of who your Mason Leader might be. These options will not change.
- If you approach the leader you will be able to convince them to let you join the Masons with a secret handshake.
- If you approach an evil killing role you will die.
- If you approach a normal villager (or Mason that is not the leader) nothing will happen.
- Getting back into the Masons will not cost your leader a recruit.
Ability message
On the first night you are shown the message:
- You believe your leader may be one of the following: <AvatarName1> <AvatarName2> <AvatarName3> etc...
When you choose a target you are shown the message:
- Tonight you will try to approach <AvatarName>
If you are not successful nothing will happen, however upon successfully finding the Mason Leader you will see this message whispered to your target as the last thing in the night chat on the night you attempted to find them:
- I have found you! I have returned!
Useful Notes
- The successful recruit message will appear as the last thing in the night chat just before dawn, unlike regular Mason recruits which are a message given in the morning.
- Although you are given a selection of targets for whom your Mason Leader is, everyone in the game has a button to approach. You are able to visit any of them if you wish.
- Approaching any Mason Leader or Mason Sergeant (even if not in your list) will result in a successful recruit
- The game will try to show the Lost Mason 5 living targets at the start of the first night, 1 Mason Leader (or Mason Sergeants if there are no Mason Leaders) and up to 4 non-leaders that are not the player themselves.
- If there are multiple leaders, a maximum of 1 will be shown.
- If there are Mason Leaders and Mason Sergeants in the game, then any of the Mason Sergeants may be in the list in addition to the 1 leader
- If there are only Mason Sergeants then a maximum of 1 of them will be in the list
- In rare occasions, you may see fewer names:
- If there are no Mason Leaders or Mason Sergeants in the game, only up-to-4 non-leaders are shown.
- If there are insufficient non-leaders alive, then as many as possible will be shown
- If there are multiple Lost Masons in the game, they will usually receive different lists
- If there are multiple leaders, a maximum of 1 will be shown.
