Role Text
- You are a Novice Tarot Reader. You can examine Tarot cards for two players each night.
- Objectives
- Lynch all evil doers
- Special Abilities
- Each night you can select two living players to read from
- Your read consists of two cards from each player and a fifth card from a random other player in the game
- Each card reflects one of three facets of a player - their alignment, whether they can kill and if they use witchcraft
- The two cards from each player are randomly selected from the three possible, and then all five are randomised before your read is shown
Ability Message
When you select your first target, you receive the following message:
Tonight you will read cards for <AvatarName> - pick another target
When you select your second target, you receive the following message:
Tonight you will read cards for <AvatarName> and <AvatarName2>
In the morning, you will receive the following message informing you of the results:
The five tarot cards you see are <Card1>, <Card2>, <Card3>, <Card4>, <Card5>.
Possible Card Reads

As you'll see below, some cards can overlap, e.g the Magician card can either stand for Alignment or Witchcraft status depending on the role. Some roles even have two Magician cards for that reason, as it is the case for the entirety of the Coven. More on the Tarot Card List page
