The Inquisitor is a member of The Inquisition by default, but may appear in games without an Inquisition Leader. Once per night they are able to check if a player is a Witchcraft user.
In addition to the normal Village win condition, members of the Inquisition need to eliminate all Witchcraft users before the game ends. This includes Village aligned Witchcraft users.

You are an Inquisitor. Once per night you can check a player for signs of heresy.

- Heretics include, but are not limited to, users of witchcraft (such as the Seer, Protector, Coven)
- Your check may also reveal a fanatic player, who may be working towards similar aims as the Inquisition, like a Witch Hunter
- Along with the Inquisition Leader, for you to win, there must be no heretics alive when the game ends
Ability message
Tonight you will check (player) for signs of heresy:

Useful Notes
- Whether an Inquisitor has a leader or not, they are always part of the Inquisition subfaction, thus their additional win condition is always the same as the inquisition: to kill all witchcraft users, no matter what alignment.
- Rune holders are not witchcraft users - the rune only makes someone appear as a witchcraft user. The win condition only applies to the role of other players.
- If an Inquisitor checks a Purifier or a Witch Hunter then their check is altered slightly and they are told that they are "a Fanatic".
