The Banshee

Unlike other roles, the Banshee only works once they are in the Graveyard. Once in the Graveyard, the Banshee can possess a living player for a single day phase before switching back to their normal avatar.

Role Text

You are a Banshee. Once you are dead you gain the ability to possess other living players during the day time.
Objectives
Kill all other evil factions
Gain control of lynch voting by having at least 50% of living players be Undead
Special Abilities
When you are dead, you can possess a living player for a single day
You revert to your dead state at night
You cannot target the same player twice in a row
You are a member of the Undead and can talk with them at night

Useful Notes

  • A Banshee cannot possess the same person twice in a row.
  • If a Banshee targets a player who is protected (such as from a Protector) then the possession will fail.
  • If the Banshee is lynched while possessing a player, then they are not swapped back into their previous avatar.
  • bug workaround when ability doesn't show. Voting for someone in beta branch works.
