The Merchant is a neutral role whose Win Condition is to have the most coins of any living Merchant at the end of the game. Each night you have options of items to purchase, which you can then pass to players to earn coins. In addition you can visit a player each night to discover how many items that player is holding.

You are a merchant. You are here to exploit the chaos and make your fortune.
Objectives
Have the most coins of any living merchant at the end of the game.
If all the merchants are dead at the end of the game, the Merchant that died the richest wins.
Special Abilities
You begin with 5 coins.
You will be presented with purchase options each night
You can pass any items you hold to other players to sell them and the receive the amount of coins denoted the next night.
In addition, you may also visit one player each night to find out how many items they have.
You count for village parity but do not need the village to win to meet your win conditions
You appear as Neutral to the Seer
