The Monarch is a village role that starts the game with Tyr's Shield and gains Influence at an increased rate. Each night they are able to give another player additional influence.

Aristocrats are netural roles who also gain increased influence and the player with the highest influence becomes the new Monarch when the existing one dies.

Role Text

You are a Monarch. You can give favour to your subjects to increase their Influence.
Objectives
Be the Monarch at the end of the game and win with the village.
-OR-
Join an evil faction and win with them
Special Abilities
You gain x3 Influence compared to other players. For example, if an action would result in a player gaining (2) Influence, you would gain (6) instead.
You will lose this Influence bonus if your role changes.
You may favour a player a night, giving them (3) extra Influence points. These points do not come from your own Influence.
There may be others in your court looking to dispose you from the throne.
