The Desperate Shiv is a one-use item that can be used to target a single player at night. It has a 50 % chance to kill the target and a separate 50 % chance to cripple the target. Once used, it is consumed.

- Using the shiv has a 50% chance of killing the target and a separate 50% chance of crippling the target
- The shiv can only be used once

Upon activating the Desperate Shiv you see the following message:
- Tonight you will shiv <AvatarName>

- This item was introduced in boo-004 and was a Mod-drop. In the future, it may appear for people who have been role-blocked for three consecutive nights. (TBC)
