The Courtesan can visit one person each. When they do, that player is roleblocked, meaning they are unable to perform any actions to do with their role.

Role Type

  • Is seen as a member of the Village.
  • Is not seen as a witchcraft user.
  • Is not seen as a killer.
  • Is seen visiting other players.
  • Is not seen self-visiting.

Useful Notes

  • The target of the Courtesan get a message in the morning notifying them that they have been roleblocked. This message is still sent even if the target had done no night actions.
  • Some roles cannot be roleblocked. These include the Succubus, Djinn, any night-immune player, and other roleblocking roles (such as the Direwolf or Gravewarden)
  • Night-Immune roles and roleblocking roles do not receive the roleblock message in the morning.
  • The Courtesan cannot stop items from being passed or used.
  • When someone is roleblocked, their actions is considered to not have happened. Therefore, they will not been seen visiting anyone, and if their role has limited uses (such as a Militia) the use is not consumed. In addition, a role that normally cannot visit their previous target (such as a Protector) would be able to attempt another visit on the following night.
