There are 4 wolfpack members and 10 members of the village. The village has a Seer, Protector and Lycan. The wolfpack have at least 2 Shapeshifters and a Bloodhound

The village has 3 roles chosen from the following bag: <Beholder, Diseased, Gravedigger, Gravedigger, Gravedigger, Huntsman, Militia, Militia>.

The wolfpack have either an Alphawolf or the wolfpack have an extra Shapeshifter. If the wolfpack have an Alphawolf then the village have an extra Militia. If the wolfpack have an extra Shapeshifter then the village have an additional Lycan

Setup Explained

This is a basic example of a common style of wlf setup, introducing the concepts of bags of roles, from which a portion of roles will be in the game. Because it is unclear what roles are actually in the game, a player claiming they are one of the roles in the bag should be given additional scrutiny, even if uncountered.

Players who are told that they are a Villager should be aware that they might actually be the Lycan.

There are at least two Shapeshifters in the setup, so the Village will need to consider whether unusual night kills may be one of the Shapeshifters moving into a new avatar, especially if the player was under suspicion.

Shapeshifters themselves should be looking for players they could convincingly shift, ideally people with similar levels of activity or typing style. They may need to make notes about how their intended target types, whether they use phrases or emojis regularly, so the shift can be convincing.

The Beholder can find intel gathering roles and confirm them, seeing the checks that Gravediggers and the Seer can get. This can be especially powerful on the night one of these roles dies, as the Beholder will be able to give the result of their final check to the Village. The Beholder should note that if they behold the Bloodhound, it will appear to them that they are beholding the Seer.

The Village may have two protection roles with the Protector and Huntsman. This can be especially powerful if both roles are alive later on, as they can alternate between protecting a target to force the Wolfpack to either leave them alive or to sacrifice one of their team to kill the Huntsman.
