Mystic Vault

A Mystic Vault contains several items a player can choose from. Only a single item can be taken from the Vault per night, and it automatically passes to the neighbour directly below on the player list. If it passes to a dead player, the following night it will automatically pass to whoever was below the dead player on the player list while they were still alive.

The Vault's inventory is separated into tiers. In order for the items in the next tier to become accessible, all the items in the previous tier need to be removed first. For example, Tier 2 items are accessible only after every Tier 1 item has been taken by the players, and Tier 3 items are accessible when every Tier 2 items has been taken, and so on.

A Mystic Vault cannot be destroyed or stolen. It will, however, disappear once its been emptied out.

A Mystic Vault will allow you to gain one item from its inventory at night

Items surrounded by (brackets) are locked in a lower level of the vault and all items in higher levels must be cleared before lower levels are accessible

A Mystic Vault will pass automatically to your neighbour directly below you in the player list tomorrow

You do not need to pick an item, but the Mystic Vault will pass regardless

If a Mystic Vault passes to a dead player, it will automatically try to continue its journey as close to it can on the player list

A Mystic Vault cannot be stolen or destroyed, but will disappear when empty

Depending on the number of items in a Mystic Vault, they will appear as follows:

When picking an item from a Mystic Vault the following message is received:

Tonight you will take <Item Name> from the Mystic Vault

Useful Notes

• A Mystic Vault typically cannot be manually passed to a player, it will pass itself automatically. However, holding an Altruistic Trinket overrides the auto-pass, allowing a Mystic Vault to be passed to any other player
• Holding an Altruistic Trinket also prevents the holder from taking an item from the Vault
