Upon activating the Arcanum you see the following message:

The following day votes will be partially obscured, still showing that a vote has been cast on a person but not by whom:

The Arcanum can be used once per game. The day after it is activated player votes will be slightly obscured, it will be not be known who the votes are cast by. Using the Arcanum will stop the village being able to not lynch
* There is a more powerful version of this item called [[Greater Arcanum]] which obscures both who cast the vote and who it was cast upon
* On the day that the Arcanum is activated, it nullifies auras that impact voting, and the Pagan does not get any bonus votes either even if he votes correctly
