Some abilities allow a player to forcibly take items from another player. In addition, when a player is killed, the killer steals any items their victim had. If a player attempts to steal items from a player who is killed by a different player, then the items would go to the thief, not the killer.
If two or more players attempt to steal an item from the same player (not including via killing), then no-one steals anything. If two or more players kill the same player, then any items that player had would go to one of the killers, determined at random.
