When editing there are some templates you can use to make life easier.

'''<nowiki>{{roleinfo}}</nowiki>''' is a template for role pages which includes the basic info about that role. It has options which are set by using the <nowiki>|</nowiki> symbol followed by the option name and an equals sign (e.g. |alignmentstatus=) and then whatever comes after the equals sign is included on that line.

'''<nowiki>{{missing info}}</nowiki>''' should be put within a section of an article that is missing non-essential information <small> [https://unofficialhowtoplay.co.uk/index.php?title=Special%3AWhatLinksHere&target=Template%3Amissing+info&namespace= Show all pages that include this] </small>

'''<nowiki>{{incomplete}}</nowiki>''' should be put at the top of any article that you're leaving as a work in progress and is missing essential information. <small> [https://unofficialhowtoplay.co.uk/index.php?title=Special%3AWhatLinksHere&target=Template%3AIncomplete&namespace= Show all pages that include this] </small>

'''<nowiki>{{formatting}}</nowiki>''' should be put at the top of any article that needs formatting correctly <small> [https://unofficialhowtoplay.co.uk/index.php?title=Special%3AWhatLinksHere&target=Template%3AFormatting&namespace= Show all pages that include this] </small>

'''<nowiki>{{uncertain}}</nowiki>''' should be put at the top of any article which contains information you are uncertain about and needs discussion. <small> [https://unofficialhowtoplay.co.uk/index.php?title=Special%3AWhatLinksHere&target=Template%3AUncertain&namespace= Show all pages that include this] </small>

The "Discussion" tab on that page should be where this is then discussed and a convention agreed.

It's especially helpful if you can add the role text, item text and the moderator messages from abilities and items to the relevant pages, as and when you get them. To edit the wiki you will need an account and it's best if you follow the [[Style Guide]] to ensure your page/edits are consistent with the rest of the site.

The werewolv.es Unofficial "How To Play"

This is an unofficial guide to the werewolv.es online Werewolf game. It's community made and represents the collective game knowledge of the players. This means that not everything here can be considered "cannon" but is usually very accurate. New roles, items and mechanics are documented as they are encountered and may change significantly as they are developed, before being added to the official How to Play.

New players should start with the New Player Guide

If you are looking for information about a specific part of the game you can find that below:
